Peter Glusker

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Peter founded WSVC with Brian Patterson in 2017, to combine and accelerate their respective early-stage venture capital investing activities, and serves as WSVC’s Managing Partner.

Peter is an experienced investor, board member, executive, and mentor to early-stage companies. Prior to co-founding WSCV, Peter served as Senior Vice President of Business Development, Integration & Operations for Target from 2014 - 2016. Prior to Target, Peter held several senior roles from 2009 - 2013 with e-commerce pioneer, Gilt Groupe. While based in Tokyo, he served as CEO of Gilt Japan. Previously, Peter was based at Gilt Groupe’s New York HQ running Business Development and International.

Prior to joining Gilt, Peter held positions at several leading media and technology businesses, including CBS and Viacom, where he was Senior Vice President of the Viacom Digital Media Group and the CBS Internet Group. Earlier in his career, Peter served as Senior Vice President of Content Programming & Business Development at Prodigy, and also held positions at the International Finance Corporation, Bain & Company and First Boston.

Peter currently serves on the board of of Thyrv, Inc. (formerly DexYP), and has served on the boards of numerous public and private media, commerce and technology companies, including Gilt Japan, The Journal Register Company, Alliance Time, SportsLine, and MarketWatch.

Peter holds a BA from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Stanford University. He lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife and three children.
